PROJECT DESCRIPTION

• Create an atmosphere of reverence conducive to prayer throughout the Sanctuary.
Facilitate the staging of ceremonies.
• Respond to the challenges of Laudato Si by improving energy savings and contributing to the protection of the Pic du Midi RICE (Réserve International du Ciel Etoilé), a local initiative to enhance the view of the stars.
• Improve accessibility to the site for visually-impaired pilgrims and also for all those who have difficulty with their sight
(including elderly people)
• Enhance the Sanctuary’s heritage buildings and the beauty of the site
• Respond to the technical challenges of aging installations

For all studies and work to be carried out, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes commits to seeking a minimum of 3 competitive quotes where possible (and at least 2) and to rigorously monitor the budgets. Proof of all expenses will be provided to donors.

The Sanctuary applies 10-15% management and administrative fees to all projects to cover related costs.
