A pilgrimage to Lourdes means months of preparation before the 4 or 5 days that the pilgrimage is actually here. Logistics are important: registration, travel by coach or train, accommodation in the Accueils and hotels, creating teams and groups … The Pilgrimage Directors and the Presidents of the Diocesan Hospitalities have a lot to organise with their respective teams. Each year, the winter conventions allow them to meet the Sanctuary representatives and, together, to plan ahead the times of all the liturgies and the programme of activities for the days they are in Lourdes. Then, everything is set for people to be able to reap the wonders of Lourdes: the wonder of living and receiving graces.
