General conditions of use for the reservation platform of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes
Article 1: object
The present “general conditions of use” sets out the legal framework for the use of the website for reserving services at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes.
This contract is agreed between: The website manager, hereinafter referred to as “the Publisher”, and any natural or legal person wishing to access the website and its services, hereinafter referred to as “the User”.
The general conditions of use must be accepted by any User, and their accessing of the site constitutes acceptance of these conditions.
ARTICLE 2: Legal notice
The booking platform is published by the EURL Rosary Basilica with a capital of EUR 1,134,990 located at 1, avenue Monseigneur Théas, 65108 LOURDES Cedex, registered with RC S of TARBES under the number 430 034 801. The company is represented by its Director, M. Guillaume de Vulpian.
ARTICLE 3: Access to services
The User of the booking platform has access to the following services with a personal account (login name and password):
- Preparing additions for the pilgrimage calendar.
- Requesting activity planning on the Sanctuary site as part of a pilgrimage.
- Consulting the activity plans confirmed by the Planning Service on this site and on smartphone
- Paying for pilgrimage participation online.
- History of previous pilgrimages.
- Reserving rooms and meals with the accommodation at the Accueil Notre-Dame.
- Privileged interactions with the Sanctuary Planning Service and the Accueil Notre-Dame Reservation Service.
Any user with access to the internet can access this platform for free.
The costs incurred by the User to access the platform (internet connection, computer equipment, etc.) are not the responsibility of the Publisher.
None of these services are available without the use of a personal account (login name and password).
Access to the platform and its various services may be interrupted or suspended by the Publisher, in particular during maintenance, without notice or justification.
ARTICLE 4: Liability of the User
The User is responsible for the confidentiality of his username and password, the information necessary to access the booking platform. The User agrees to keep this password secret and not to communicate it to anyone.
The User must immediately contact the Sanctuary in case of theft, loss, misappropriation or unauthorised use of their login credentials or if they notice that their account has been used without their knowledge.
The publisher declines any responsibility in case of disclosure of the password by the User themselves.
The User assumes full responsibility for the use they make of the information and content on the Sanctuary reservation platform.
The User is fully responsible for all content that they publish on the platform and they undertake not to harm the rights of third parties.
Any use of the service by the User directly or indirectly resulting in damage, in terms of image, or in terms of malfunction of the platform, will lead to prosecution and claims for compensation.
ARTICLE 5: Responsibility of the Publisher
The Publisher shall bear no responsibility for any malfunction of the server or the network.
In the same way, the Publisher shall bear no responsibility in the case of force majeure or the unforeseen and insurmountable act of a third party.
The Publisher undertakes to implement all the necessary means to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
ARTICLE 6: Intellectual Property
The contents of the booking platform (logos, text, graphic elements, videos, etc.) are protected by copyright under the Intellectual Property Code. These can be used by users for private purposes; any commercial use is prohibited.
ARTICLE 7: Personal data
7.1 Definition
The term “personal data” refers to all data that identifies an individual directly or indirectly, by aggregating several data, in particular your surname, first name (s), pseudonym, photograph, e-mail address, telephone number (s), date of birth, data relating to your transactions on the website, as well as any other information that we may ask you for and that you choose to communicate to us about yourself, as specified in more detail in Article 7.4 below.
7.2 In charge of data collection and processing
The organisation responsible for data collection and processing is the EURL Rosary Basilica located at 1, avenue Monseigneur Théas, 65108 LOURDES Cedex, registered with RC S of TARBES under number 430 034 801. The company is represented by its Director, M. Guillaume de Vulpian.
EURL Rosary Basilica is mandated for this service by the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes.
7.3 Purpose of the Privacy Policy
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the means we use to collect and process your personal data, the information you provide us with through the use of our website, in the context of the strictest respect of your rights.

The User must provide personal information to register on the booking platform: e-mail address, surname, and first name.
The user’s email address (e-mail) can be used by the Sanctuary’s reservation platform to provide you with information related to the activity of the Sanctuary, and the management of your personal platform access account.
7.5 Rights on personal data
You have different rights in relation to your personal data that you can exercise by a simple request with these tools:

When consulting our booking platform, information about you or relating to the navigation of your terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), may be read or saved in “cookie” files installed on your terminal, subject to the choices you have expressed regarding cookies and which you can change at any time.
Cookies have a limited lifespan of thirteen months after this file is first stored in the user’s computer equipment (following the expression of consent), as recommended by the CNIL.
The cookies used by the platform are of two types:
• Statistics: the Google Analytics tool
• Applicative: they contain the following information: last name, first name, e-mail address, associated organisation, and authorisation level of the platform services.

We advise you to take all the necessary precautions, and organisational and technical measures to preserve the security, the integrity and the confidentiality of your personal data and in particular, to prevent them being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorised third parties.

You are advised that it is technically possible for a third party to create a link to a page of the platform without the express permission of the Publisher.
ARTICLE 10: Evolution of the general conditions of use
The Publisher reserves the right to modify the clauses of these terms of use at any time and without justification.
ARTICLE 11: Duration of the contract
The duration of this contract is indefinite. The contract has effect with respect to the User from the beginning of the use of the service.
It ends when the user notifies the Planning Service of the Sanctuary that the use of the service has been terminated.
The user’s account is then deleted or completely anonymised if historical analysis requirements warrant it.
ARTICLE 12: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This contract is subject to French law. In case of unresolved dispute between the User and the Publisher, the courts of Tarbes (65, France) are competent to settle the dispute.
