Organise a pilgrimage to Lourdes
Are you planning to come to Lourdes with a group? On a pilgrimage? To prepare sacraments? Three or four days, for a spiritual time? With sick, elderly or young people? Whether you are Pilgrimage Directors or Hospitality Presidents, group leaders, catechists, priests, chaplains, travel agencies… welcome!
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes is a major pilgrimage site which welcomes many young, sick, disabled and vulnerable people. Attentive to their needs and their protection, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes has established a charter for the protection of minors and vulnerable people, as well as awareness and information material for pilgrimage organisers.

END OF JANUARY 2024 – Booking confirmation for 2025
MID-NOVEMBER 2024 – Collection of booking requests on the platform
JANUARY/EARLY FEBRUARY 2025 – Booking confirmation from the platform
LOURDES FEBRUARY DAYS – If necessary, adjustments and exchanges between pilgrimages regarding common celebrations for 2025
DAY OF ARRIVAL – Reception at the planning Department
Liturgy meeting at 1.30pm
BOOKING ACCOMODATION IN THE SANCTUARY
4 TO 6 MONTHS BEFORE DATE OF ARRIVAL – Reception of the allocation file (Excel):
Checklist of the areas allocated at the Accueil Notre-Dame with the number of rooms and beds booked.
Indication of the number of rooms in other places of accommodation (for the ‘hospitaliers’).
Return of the file by the group leader.
Sending the contract via DocuSign.
1 TO 2 MONTHS BEFORE DATE OF ARRIVAL – Adjustments of the number of rooms
Per area for the Accueil Notre-Dame or other places of accommodation, by the group leader.
Return of the signed contract.
1 MONTH BEFORE DATE OF ARRIVAL – End of free adjustments.
Any cancellation will result in penalties.
– Reception of the reservation files for catering, medical equipment, transit rooms and chapels at the Accueil Notre-Dame (Excel files).
– Reception of the list of participants to be completed (Excel).
15 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL DATE – Return of the list of participants for the Accueil Notre-Dame and other places of accommodation in the Sanctuary.
Return of catering, medical equipment and room booking forms (Accueil Notre-Dame).
3 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL DATE – If necessary, changes in the list of people accommodated.
DAY OF ARRIVAL – Meeting with the group leader.
Last changes in the list of participants and checklist of the stay. Presentation of the Reception Department as the contact point for the time of the pilgrimage.
